The Global Health Division - Strategic Initiatives(GHD-SI) at the Dalla Lana School of Public
Health (DLSPH), University of Toronto (UofT), is relied upon by the
School and university community of students, academic and
administrative leadership to:
- 1. Identify, support and advance global health initiatives, research
and education from the Global Health Division, Dalla Lana School of
Public Health (DLSPH) with colleagues and students from across the
University of Toronto;
- 2. Strengthen relevant collaborations with stakeholders external to the DLSPH.
- 3. Define the School's contribution to overall global health agenda within the University, local and international global health
communities.
- 4. Create innovative global health education and outreach initiatives in partnership with UofT global health community;
- 5. Act as bridge between University of Toronto global health practitioners to global health educators and researchers;
- 6. Advance a culture of global citizenship and social responsibility while supporting University of Toronto global health educators,
research scientists and students.
University of Toronto includes three campuses, close to 65,000 students, 9,000 faculty, 600 undergraduate programs,
168 graduate & postgraduate programs and 42 professional programs. Disciplines and interest related to global health intersect all three
campuses, most areas of study and research.
